Electricity- it's a buzz!!!

We found out about how to connect an electrical circuit in order to make lights and funny sound effects. Each circuit needed wires, a cell (battery) and a number of components, e.g. bulbs, LEDs, resistors. The circuits needed to be closed for the electricity to flow. Here are some photos of us connecting electrical circuits.

ROAD SAFETY with RONALD MacDONALD
TRAVELWISE WEEK
Year one & year two learn about how to be safe  walking on the footpath and crossing roads
He came to teach us about road safety... he shook his bottom. JV
He wiggled his bum at us and he pulled his pants up at us too. LI
Ronald MacDonald was magic. He kept saying "banana" when we said, "Whose there?"  KE
I thought he was funnier than I thought it was going be. I truly laughed my head off. He kept tricking us with his funny jokes. EM
I felt delighted he couldn't find his sock. FZ
I could not stop laughing even when we walked back to class. I think its a good idea to help children learn about road safety. BC
I felt giggly because he was funny. I thought he was a girl but he wasn't, he was a boy.I thought he was trying to take care of us because he told us about road safety. OC
Ronald MacDonald strolled through the door. He was acting crazy and silly. I thought he was funny because he used magic in his show. ZM
